Introduction

    The grade sevens are entering a time in their lives when their decisions will make up their character for the years to come. Children who grow up feeling that they have little to offer the world could live a long life of self-doubt, and uncertainty. In this day and age children are socialized into believing that superficial things make a good person. Pressure to obtain these usually unrealistic goals set upon them, may steer children away from the true essence of their faith in God and in themselves. Through the use of liturgies, such as this, the teacher will play an important role in fostering self-esteem as well as creating a closer connection between the students and their Catholic faith.
