A spruce tree is a common name for a group of conifers in the pine family.
They are found in Europe, North America, and beyond the Arctic circle. There are many kinds of spruce trees such as Black Spruce, Red Spruce, Sitka Spruce, and Blue Spruce. Spruces can reach a bewildering height of 150 ft(46meters).
Spruce wood can be used as wood pulp for the paper making industry & masts and spars for ships.
