Energy in our Future: What Kind? What Cost? What Opportunity!

In Canada today, we have come to see the meeting of our energy needs as an
immediate and short-term goal. The 2008 ICS Host Committee challenges you
to instead view energy as the means to sustain and enhance our personal and
collective well-being. We ask you to become familiar with energy relative to how
we design, build and operate our homes, our transportation systems and our
communities at large. Your task is to answer the challenge: Energy in our
Future: What Kind? What Cost? What Opportunity!

L'énergie dans notre avenir :
Quel genre d'énergie? À quel prix? Quelle formidable occasion!

Quelle formidable occasion!

eJournalism : Authentic Learning in Action
eJournalism at Regina Catholic Schools is a new, exciting initiative that brings technology and English Language Arts together in meaningful, real life ways. Students are active journalists at events, creating journalistic products within tight timelines. Thank you to staff and students from Miller Comprehensive, Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School, Archbishop M.C. O’Neill High School, and Michael A. Riffel High School who made up our eJ teams throughout the week. Also Thank you to Microsoft Learning in Education and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education for their support. To date approximately over 250 Regina Catholic high school and elementary students and over 45 staff have been directly involved with eJournalism projects in the school division.
