This is a schematic diagram of our Hydrogen Generator. The actual working model runs on two 12 volt car batteries. (Although the diagram only shows one for the sake of simplicity) The electrodes are made of aluminum plates that electricity is run through. This separates the hydrogen and oxygen out of the water. We've made a few smaller designs, but this is the best and most efficient that we've invented.
While we were testing it, we could fill a test tube full of hydrogen in about thirty seconds. This is much too slow to run any kind of an engine, but with more power and more electrodes it could make a lot more hydrogen.
