One of thier holidays are National Day this happens on March 3.The Arts (dance, drama, music, art, literature)
Morocans are known for their leather. The moroccan household consists of a mom a dad adaughter and a son. When the father dies the son (if married) will move out and start his own household. Usually the son moves out sooner because there is not enough room for him. Most ofthe people. Most of the people live in mucky or muddy brick house. Urban Morooccans live in small

When a Moroccan meal is prepared for a guest it is like a big ceremonial. The presenting of a meal always involves first hospitality. Most of the time the setting is when you are hosted in a room that is furnished. Most the time with divans against the walls and bearings to make a comfortable and cozzy seating and pillows. they offer the guests to wash their hands before meals. Before meals they say grace. The dishes are served in a certain order.

Sports
In Spain they play lots of sports. Spain won the European cup five times. Bullfighting is the most famous Spanish sport. It takes place on late Thursday and Sunday afternoons during the summer months. They run with six bulls at the festival Pamplona in July. Another sport they play in Spain is Basque game of Pelota is an ancient sport. This game is unique to Spain. Basque is played with a group of men who use thier hands abat or a wicker basket ( called a cesta) to hurl a ball against a wall. They take turns to throw and recieve the ball.the game is one of the worlds fastest and most strenuous. Most recently golf has become extremely popular, partly because of the number of tourists who go to Spain on golfing holidays and partly because of the international succes of a spaniard who is considerd by many to be the worlds best player- Severiano Ballesteros. Tennis, cycling, sailng, basketball and skiing are very popular in Spain too.
Religion
All religions except Roman Catholicism were outlawed in Spain the late 15th century today there are still only 30,000 prottestants,12,000 Jews and 1,000 Muslims in the country. The biggest cathedral in the world is Santa Maria in Seville it is 413 feet long and 269 feet wide. It was built between 1402 and 1506.
Holidays
Many of the Spanish holidays are religious feasts and are celebrated in the streets. The best known is the holy week or Semana Santa, which begins on Palm Sunday and ends Easter Saturday. Every day, processions of floats supporting richly attired and bejeweled religious statues pass through the streets, followed by penitents in long robes and high pointed hoods that cover thier faces.
Customs
In spain they eat five meals a day andthey eat bread with every meal. Thier daily schedule is 7a.m.breakfast, 8:30-9a.m.school/work, 2p.m.lunch/Siesta, 4-6p.m.school, 4-7p.m.work, 4-8p.m.shops open again, 7-9p.m.Paseo and at 9-11p.m.dinner.

On the Spanish Flag there are three horizontal bands of red and yellow. On the hoist side of the yellow band;the Coat of Arms has the royal seal framed by the Pillars of Hercules, which are the two promontories Gibraltar and(Ceuta) on either side of the eastern end of the Strait of Gibraltar.

Literature
There have been many poems from Spain. Two of the oldest poems are The Poem of the Cid and the play of The Wise Men that date back to the 1100's. other litercilue include the famous novel Pon Quixote by miguel de Cervants and vividly dramatize life's dreams and realities in his famous play Life is a Dream by Pedro Calderon de la Barca. Spain's leading writers of the 1900's includeessayists Jose Ontega y Gasset and Miguel de Unamuno, playwright Antonio Buero Vallejo, novelist Camilo Jose Cela, and poet Juan Ramon Jimenez. Music
Spain has its own kind of music. A form of light opera known as zarzuela. Spoken words are combined with Spains best musicians in the 1900's include Pablo Casals and Manule de Falle and a classical guitarist Andres Segovia. Spanish people like sining and dancing and each religion has there own special song and dances. Most musicians provide gaitars and tambourines. Some famous dances are the bolero, and flamenco.
