Welcome to "Lend Me Your Ears", an online resource developed to help you incorporate listening activities into your Middle Years Language Arts Program.

This resource consists of three listening activities for each grade from Grade 6 to Grade 9.

Each self-contained module includes:

• a complete lesson including instructions to the student, all print off sheets and rubrics,
• tips for teachers including possibilities for extension activities,
• before, during, and after instructions, and
• objectives addressed by each activity.

These modules can be used in a variety of ways:

• as a stand alone resource that you can present to your students as an activity to be completed online
• as a partial support where you can give your own classroom instructions but utilize the literature portion online
• as a resource for students who are absent for an in class listening activity
• as a model to help you develop your own listening activities

Supporting resources can be modified by the teachers to meet their specific needs.
