Online Resource Based Theme Boxes

Project Overview

Previous Page

This project is a part of Saskatchewan Education's Learning Technologies Unit initiatives for the 2001/2002 school year. The purpose of this project is to provide a one stop collection of resources, a theme box, to be used by teachers. It follows the format of a traditional theme box, however all the resources are in electronic format.

Two of the theme boxes, The Moving Crust and Rainforests, are based around a sample unit. All of the activities and learning objects may be used to accomplish objectives at a variety of grade levels. The third theme box, Saskatchewan Children's Authors, is organized by each author, with a number activities for each person.

All of the graphics used in this project are in the public domain, photographs and material provided by the lead teachers, or (COREL< DGL disclaimers to be done). The site has been designed for a screen resolution of 800x600, and for Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
