Picture of a Person Reading The Classroom Curriculum Connections Handbook was released by Saskatchewan learning in December of 2001. The materials on this web site are developed to aide teachers utilize and begin to practice the different professional development activities and ideas that are embedded throughout the handbook.
You may want to have a print copy of the handbook at times in order to review some of the activities. The handbook can also be viewed online.
You may also want to have pen/paper or word processor to use as you go through some of the activities, as they may be useful enabling you to record your thoughts and ideas as you complete many of the professional development activities within this web site. As you begin, I encourage you to check out the overviews for each of the three main sections; Curriculum Reflection, Curriculum Networking, and Curriculum Inquiry, and begin working in the area in which you feel comfortable, and that you see areas that require growth. In order to help you plan, you may find the following charts useful to help clarify your goals, to ensure that you achieve them.
1. Overview Planning Sheet 2. Curriculum Reflection Planning Sheet 3. Curriculum Inquiry Planning Sheet 4. Curriculum Networking Planning Sheet
