| Karen Schmidt Henderson created the layout, navigation, and content for Online Teaching Strategies (OTS) in 2001-2002 while teaching for the Meadow Lake School Division. In addition to teaching Chemistry, Science, Home Economics and Practical and Applied Arts for 16 years, she has taught the Central iSchool PAA 10 online survey class. Previous to developing the OTS site, Karen designed learning resources for the Saskatchewan Educational Technology Consortium's Web-Based Learning Resource Development (WBLRD) initiative, including Food Studies 10 and Design Studies 10. |

| The development of Online Teaching Strategies was the catalyst for a Stirling McDowell research project Beyond the Mouse and Modem: A Teacher Technology Use Survey. Mouse and Modem results led to another McDowell research project, Nourishing Growth: The Search for Effective Technology Professional Development. Currently, Karen is the Web-Based Resource Development Consultant in the Learning Technology Unit at Saskatchewan Learning. Co-lead in the Saskatchewan Institute for Research in eLearning Integration and Support (SIReNS), Karen is passionate about helping teachers transform teaching practice to foster meaningful learning using technology. |

Her expertise in Debate is evident in the Debate page; she also provided valuable information and ideas about online applications for a variety of strategies. Wendy has taught English, Drama, PAA, Arts Education and Theatre Arts for the past nine years. |

She co-developed and designed online content of Journalism Studies 20 and Drama 30 for the Educational Technology Consortium (ETC) and is a member of the PD Advisory Committee of the ETC. Ian McCuaig was instrumental in development of the navigation for the Online Teaching Strategies site. His patience in answering a myriad of never-ending questions, and his willingness to share his abundant technical knowledge, has made creating this site an enjoyable and enriching task. Ian has taught a wide variety of subjects, delivered numerous workshops on instruction with technology, and is currently working as an instructional designer on several distance education projects.
