What is Curriculum Actualization?"When a curriculum is fully implemented in the classroom, it is brought to life within the context of a particular school and community. The term actualization refers to effective implementation and ongoing renewal of Core Curriculum. It is an umbrella term that takes into account activities at all levels of the education system that are aimed at making Core Curriculum a reality in Saskatchewan classrooms. "

How can on online project affect the implementation of Core?
If Core is to be realized in the classroom it must be a fundamental component of the planning process. We need to develop a way in which teachers can plan their units and lessons within the curriculum. Our solution is to create online planning guides. Teachers will be able to create lessons, unit plans and structure year plans and save them in an online database. These planning guides will integrate all components of the Core Curriculum. We may also be able to integrate teaching ideas from the curriculum that teachers will be able to edit for their own classroom.
We would also like to create an Adaptive WebQuest database. Teachers could build a WebQuest or edit existing WebQuests. At each step teachers would be asked to complete sections relating to Core Curriculum (strategies, evaluation methods, Cels, etc.).
