What is meant by Catholic curriculum?

Education in a Catholic school ensures the Catholic faith permeates all curricula and everything done in the school. Examples of this permeation include teaching science in the context of the Catholic view on stewardship, incorporating the Church’s teachings on social justice into social studies, or drawing out Catholic values in the study of literature. These Catholic curriculum initiatives incorporate the essential elements of both provincial curricula and the Catholic faith.

What does Catholic Curriculum Online provide?

Catholic Curriculum Online provides a Web site clearing house so that Catholic curriculum ideas, activities, lessons, units, and articles can be collected from, and shared with, educators in Catholic schools across Saskatchewan. Submissions cover all K-12 subject areas.

Who supports this project?

This project is sponsored by Saskatchewan Education and all Catholic School Divisions in the province.
