Artistic Expression
" Art is a dynamic, multifaceted enterprise.
Above all else, it is a means of giving form to feelings and ideas...

What is artistic expression?

Artisitic Expression is an important aspect of Arts education. It refers to the feeling which are evoked and the ideas which are expressed through works of art. Not only does it provide an opportunity for students to express themselves artistically, but it provides students an opportunity to become aware of how Artists (both past and present) have expressed themselves through their achievements. As well, Artistic expression involves the world we live in, and the ways in which Art is used to express our values and beliefs as a society.
